![]() He has also spent six years as a representative for the D230 Teachers Union and was a member of their contract negotiations team. Douglas has spent over a decade as part of the Illinois High School and College Driver Education Association (IHSCDEA) Board of Directors, where he spent time working on statewide curriculum, program development, and program enhancing legislation, presenting often at their regional and state conferences. During that time as a teacher, he was heavily involved in the building with roles as the Head Coach of Andrew’s Boys Track and Field program and their Student Activities Coordinator. Douglas began his career here at Andrew as a teacher for over a decade in this very division teaching PE, Health, Driver Ed, & Adapted PE. Prior to this administrative role, Douglas was the Division Chair of Physical Education, Health, and Driver Education at our sister school Amos Alonzo Stagg from 2020-22.
